In this position you will be responsible for the complete import process and act as a resource and mentor for junior colleagues. You will be part of a close team. Together you are responsible for a smooth running process. As an Import Specialist, you will ensure that every file runs smoothly from start to finish. You process import shipments, check documentation and prepare the necessary transport documents. You maintain close contact with transporters, shipping companies and customers and ensure that all information is kept up-to-date. In addition, you supervise junior colleagues on the work floor, answer their questions and actively share your knowledge. Administratively you keep the overview: you ensure that files are complete and everything is completed and archived correctly. Requirements **The perfect candidate has several years of work experience within a Logistics function. You are not unfamiliar with customs documents and import procedures.
