Warehouse Employee

About the position

As a Warehouse Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately picking, checking and preparing customer orders for shipment. You work primarily on a fixed afternoon/evening shift and ensure that all goods are picked, labeled and ready for shipment. Your role is essential in the logistics chain; thanks to your precision and sense of responsibility, customers receive their products on time and in perfect condition.

• Gathering orders using lists or scanners

• Checking quantities, product quality and best-before dates

• Packaging and preparing goods for shipment

• Areporting deviations or damage to the team leader

• Making sure the workplace is clean, safe and organized

• Collaborating with colleagues from different departments to ensure a smooth workflow

What we are looking for

You are a hands-on team player who enjoys physical work and takes pride in accuracy. You handle a fast-paced work environment well and have a proactive attitude.

• Living in or near Amsterdam

• Willingness to work the afternoon/evening shift (14.00 – 22.45 hours)

• Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays (maximum 5 times a year)

• The availability for overtime during busy periods

• Fysically fit and motivated to work hard

• A reach truck certificate is a big plus
