Senior HR Advisor

About the position

People make the difference, and as Senior HR Advisor, you play a key role in that! You are the heart of the HR team: involved, hands-on and always focused on connecting. You ensure that everything runs smoothly within the daily HR activities, support colleagues on a wide range of issues and actively contribute to the further professionalization of the HR processes. You are also the important link between operations and management. You know how to translate strategic goals into concrete actions, and combine thinking with doing. In this role, you work closely with the HR consultant, payroll administrator, HR administrator and the recruiter. Together you ensure a smoothly running HR policy and optimal support for employees and managers. You like to get to work, think in terms of solutions and are energized by an environment where no two days are the same. Together with the HR adviser, you are a sparring partner for the organization and you monitor the smooth flow of daily business. And because the organization has multiple offices, you are also regularly on the road, your location is Lelystad, but your impact is felt nationwide. What will you do as Senior HR Advisor?

  • Coordinate and execute daily HR work
  • First point of contact for employees and managers on HR issues
  • Supervise onboarding, absenteeism, development, inflow and outflow
  • Prepare, monitor and improve HR processes and personnel files
  • Collaborate on projects on absenteeism strategy, talent development and leadership
  • Signaling opportunities for improvement and contributing ideas about policy and processes
  • Drawing up reports and translating the strategic course into practical implementation

What we are looking for

  • A completed Bachelor’s degree in HRM or similar
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR department
  • Serious communicator and managerial skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A hands-on mentality and feeling for a people-oriented culture
  • A proactive attitude and pleasure in working together as well as working independently
  • Experience within a technical or project-based organization is a nice plus
