About the position
As an M&A Associate, you will support the Chief Legal Officer in all M&A activities within the staff functions. In a nutshell: from writing business cases through due diligence and transaction documentation to the final closing and transfer via the Integration team to Operations. You are the coordinating pivot in the process and have daily contact with vendors and other stakeholders and are able, like no other, to put yourself in the position of those involved. Tasks:
- The preparation of business cases for evaluating potential acquisition targets;
- The coordination of bids;
- The coordination of due diligence processes including communication with stakeholders;
- The coordination of the creation of the transaction documentation and the notarial deeds in collaboration with (external) legal professionals;
- DNa closing the coordination of the handover to the Integration Team.
What we are looking for
We find it very important that you are motivated to become successful in this job. You recognize yourself at least in the following job requirements: You are at least HBO educated;
- Some work experience in the field of M&A or in the financial field is a plus;
- You are willing to delve into the M&A field;
- You are skilled in working with MS Office, where Excel is an important one;
- You have a good command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing;
- You are representative, have a developed sense of empathy and are able to act in an empathetic and service-minded manner with respect for all stakeholders;
- You are proactive and can work independently.
- Naturally, you will receive sufficient guidance to be successful in your job.
