Logistics Planner

About the position

For a retailer with a large store network in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, we are looking for a Transport Planner Outbound. Together with the team, you will ensure that all stores are supplied on time and efficiently, so that the shelves are always well stocked. In this position you will be responsible for planning trips to the stores, drawing up daily and route plans and monitoring forecasts. You will interact daily with internal teams within the logistics service center as well as with colleagues in the stores so that everyone knows exactly when deliveries are arriving. Besides the daily planning, you actively participate in improving planning processes in the warehouse. Thanks to your analytical view and eye for detail, planning errors are quickly identified and resolved. As a result, you keep the operation running smoothly and make the logistics process a little better every day. The department works with different start and end times between 05:30 and 18:00. Weekend shifts occur occasionally, of course by mutual agreement. Your responsibilities

• You ensure timely and efficient stocking of all stores.

• You make tactical and operational route and order picking plans and make adjustments as needed.

• You calculate the weekly workload per production area for optimal work distribution.

• You check your own work and that of your colleagues for content and progress.

• You know that transport planning is dynamic and keep a continuous grip on changes and adjustments.

What we are looking for

• Minimum hbo working and thinking level.

• Minimum 2 years experience with TMS and WMS systems.

• Experience within logistics and/or retail.

• Strong Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables).

• Minimum 4 days per week available.

• Dutch at B2 level or higher.

• Willingness to work morning and weekend shifts (with allowance).
