Financial Reporting Specialist

About the position

In this role, you are the lynchpin in setting up, improving and securing financial reporting. You play an important role in further professionalizing the internal control environment and work closely with colleagues within Finance, Risk and IT. You independently coordinate and perform monthly Control Self Assessments (CSAs) to test the effectiveness of internal control measures. In addition, you prepare financial reports, analyze deviations and actively contribute to the optimization of processes and reporting structures. You also make an important contribution to the preparation of the financial statements and the preparation of the file for the external auditor. Requirements

What we are looking for

You will be successful in this role if you have strong analytical skills, a critical eye and a proactive approach. You have experience with financial reporting (IFRS and/or US GAAP is an advantage) and knowledge of SOX regulations. You communicate complex information clearly, you work in a structured and accurate way, and you are a team player who also takes responsibility independently. In addition, you recognize yourself in:

• A completed bachelor or master’s degree in accountancy, controlling or finance, possibly supplemented by a post bachelor or post master’s degree;

• Unavailability of at least 32 hours per week.
