About the position

Within the Quality, Control & Risk team, you will work on strengthening our quality and risk management. You think ahead, identify improvement opportunities and contribute to a solid organization that is ready for the future. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the risk management system. You delve into complex issues and know exactly what (digital) risks are involved. From your helicopter view and quality perspective you advise at different levels of the organization, always with a keen eye for the balance between business goals and risk management. You maintain contact with stakeholders, identify risks and come up with concrete proposals to manage them. You work closely with the CLO and COO and are part of the newly formed QCR team. Together you will ensure that the organization stays on course in a changing world. For example, we are on the eve of the implementation of DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act), an important step towards even stronger IT and operational resilience. You play a key role in this.

  • Monitoring and optimizing the risk management system
  • Analyzing complex (digital) risks and advising on tactical and strategic level
  • Maintaining contact with stakeholders and advising on control measures
  • Signaling trends and developments within risk, control and governance
  • Collaborate on projects such as the implementation of DORA
  • Preparing plans and analyses together with the CLO, COO and the QCR team
  • Acting as a sparring partner at the intersection of business goals and risk management

What we are looking for

  • A completed WO education in Business Administration, (Business) economics, Law or Accountancy (or a post-graduate degree in operational, financial or IT auditing)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
  • An affinity with or knowledge of operational, financial or IT risk management
  • Inspection in governance and internal control
  • Experience with decision making at tactical and strategic level
  • A registration as RE (NOREA), RO (IIA) or similar is a plus You are analytically strong, think in scenarios and know how to communicate complex issues clearly. Above all, you have a proactive attitude and enjoy working together on quality and innovation.
