About the position
For an internationally active company within the food industry, we are looking for a Demand Planner with several years of experience. In this role, you will work closely with various business units in Europe and ensure an optimal balance between forecasting and cooperation with colleagues from sales, supply chain and operations. As Demand Planner, you are the pivot between data and practice. You translate market developments and sales forecasts into reliable forecasts and discuss these with stakeholders in different countries. In doing so, you keep an eye on both the figures and the relationships. Your responsibilities:
- Create, monitor and improve demand forecasts for multiple European business units.
- Analyze historical sales data and trends in the market.
- Coordinate with sales, supply chain and operations to review and adjust forecasts.
- Identify deviations and proactively advise on improvements.
- Active contribution to S&OP processes and international alignment.
What we are looking for
- You already have 3 to 4 years of experience as Demand Planner, ideally within the food industry
- You are analytically strong and have the ability to translate figures into clear advice
- You can deal well with deadlines and unexpected situations
- You are fluent in English (preferably also speak Dutch)
What you get
- A salary of €4.000 – €5,000 gross per month
- You can work up to 2 days per week from home in full-time employment
